What is a tissue? ऊतक क्या है?

 A tissue is a group of similar cells that perform a specific function or set of functions within an organism.

In multicellular organisms, such as animals and plants, tissues are organized into larger structures called organs, which carry out more complex tasks.

There are several types of tissues, including epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue.

Epithelial tissue lines the surfaces and cavities of the body,

Connective tissue provides support and connects different tissues and organs,

Muscle tissue allows for movement, and

Nervous tissue transmits electrical signals throughout the body.

Each type of tissue has a specific function and is essential for the proper functioning of the organism.
